Tréaslaímid le Robyn Doyle ón dara bhliain a fuair duais as ucht a bheith páirteach san imeacht idirlín ar a dtugtar ‘I’m an engineer get me out of here’.

Leis an dtogra seo, cuirtear daltaí i dteagmhail le hinnealtóirí. Cineál comórtas X-Factor atá i gceist, idir innealtóirí, ina bhfeidhmíonn na daltaí mar bhreithimh ar an gomórtas.

Ceistíonn na daltaí na hinnealtóirí agus cuireann siad faoi dhianscrúdú iad. Caitheann siad vóta don innealtóir is rogha leo agus bíonn an bua ag innealtóir amháin a fhaigheann €500 chun cabhrú leis no léi cumarsáid a dhéanamh leis an bpobal chun a chuid oibre a mhíniú.

Freisin, caitheann na hinnealtóirí vóta do na daltaí ab fhearr ag cur na gceisteanna, agus ainmníodh Robyn i measc na mbuaiteoirí a fuair dearbhán siopadaóireachta agus teastas.

Congratulations to Robyn Doyle from second year who won a prize for his participation in the online event ‘I’m an engineer get me out of here’, where school students interact with engineers. It’s an X Factor-style competition between engineers, where the students are the judges.

Students challenge the engineers over fast-paced online live chats. They ask the engineers anything they want, and vote for their favourite engineer to win a prize of £500 to communicate their work with the public.

After every event the engineers and moderators vote for the students they think engaged really well, and Robyn was one of the winners of a certificate and gift voucher.
