Fáilte go Gaelcholáiste an Chláir.

Is é an misean atá againn ná oideachas den chéad scoth a chur ar fáil do aos óg Chontae an Chláir. Tá failte roimh dhaltaí ó gach bunscoil agus cúlra is cuma an í an Ghaeilge a bpríomh-theanga, nó nach í.

Our mission is to provide a first class education through the medium of Irish to the youth of County Clare. We welcome students from every national school and from background, regardless of whether Irish is their first language or not.

Bunaíodh Gaelcholáiste an Chláir i 1993 chun oideachas dara-leibhéal a chur ar fáil trí Ghaeilge do dhaltaí i gCo. an Chláir. Is é an t-aon mheánscoil lán-Ghaelach é sa chontae, agus an t-aon scoil in Inis ina bhfuil an Innealtóireacht á múineadh mar ábhar Ardteiste.

Tá an Coláiste faoi stiúr Bhord Oideachais agus Oiliúna Luimnigh agus an Chláir. Is aonad faoi leith é ar an suíomh céanna le Coláiste Pobail na hInse agus Coláiste Breisoideachais na hInse.

Gaelcholáiste an Chláir was founded in 1993 to provide second-level education through the medium of Irish to students in Co. Clare. It is the only school in Clare offering secondary education through Irish and the only school in Ennis offering Engineering as a Leaving Cert Subject.

The College is under the auspices of Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board. It is a stand-alone unit on the same grounds as Ennis Community College and Ennis College of Further Education.
