'The effects of different types of footwear on the gait of young people’ was the subject of an entry by pupils of Gaelcholáiste an Chláir at the BT Young Scientist & Technology exhibition at the RDS Dublin. They explained their findings to visitor Marian Harkin MEP, a former science teacher, who congratulated Aine Mhaoir (left) and Dearbhala Nic Uallachain on what she described as "a very practical piece of work".
