Ré Ó Laighléis, údar, le scoláirí idirbhliana an Ghaelcholáiste agus Bean Bhreathnach, múinteoir.

Students from Gaelcholáiste an Chláir met with author Ré Ó Laighléis last week at an event organised by Clare County Library.

Mr Ó Laighléis is the author of novels, short stories and plays in English and in Irish. Originally from Dublin he has lived in Ballyvaughan for many years. He has written for young people and for mature audiences and his work has been translated into other languages.

His novel ‘Gafa’ is currently on the curriculum for the Leaving Certificate Irish course.
