Beidh Seo Faisin agus Aonach Nollag againn ar an 26ú, chun airgead a chruinniú don nGaelcholáiste agus do Ennis Community College. Fáilte roimh chách!

Staff and students at Ennis Community College and Gaelcholáiste an Chláir are as busy as elves in preparation for the Winter Fashion Show and Christmas Fair which will be held in Treacy’s West County Hotel on the 26th of November.

Fashions will be modelled by professional Irish models from Coast Model Management as well students and teachers from the school, parents and younger children. The amateur models are being coached on deportment and catwalk skills by Tess Purcell from Coast Model Management.

Fashion Show

Several Clare fashion retailers are participating in the event with fashions ranging from men’s suits, deb’s wear, sport’s wear, bridal wear, casual wear, designer wear, and communion and confirmation wear for boys and girls. Shops including Willow, The County Boutique, Lily’s Boutique, Nozomi, Ennis Bridal Boutique, Vermilion, Kymari, An Bínsín Luachra, Frocks and Frills, Chez Marie, G Nine Boutique, Carraig Donn, Forget Me Not, Club Dangan, Caution, The Irish Cancer Society, and Elvery’s Sports will be out in force to show their most modern styles and fashions.

The event will have a family flavour, and will cater for both men and women’s styles.

In addition, over thirty stalls will take part in the Christmas Fair, displaying a range of goods including: toys; handcrafted furniture; remodelling and restyling advice; handmade jewellery; unusual gems and crystals from around the world; flowers; bags; handcrafted patchwork – decoupage and cross stitching; driftwood tables; lamps; slate mirrors; candle holders; candle oils; creams; Aloe Vera; homemade and personalised cards; candles and gifts; frozen fairy; baby bibs; cushions; wreaths; Christmas logs; makeup; photography; sweets; clothes; fashion accessories; mince pies and mulled wine to get you into the Christmas spirit.

Entertainment will be provided throughout the night and will range from modern, classical and traditional music to hip hop and Irish Dancing as well as performances from the school rock and traditional bands and solo singers. The show will end in spectacular style with an atmospheric medley of Christmas music and song from the school choir.

A host of spot prizes will be on offer, ranging from generous donations of home heating oil, petrol vouchers, weekends away, dinners and lunches, pampering vouchers, entry tickets to local heritage sites, accessories, family portraits and hampers.

The doors will open at 6.45pm. Tickets are available from the school office, phone 065-6829432. Adult tickets cost €19, students €9 and discounted family tickets for two adults and two children are €50.

The public is advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
