Exam time can be stressful for parents as well as for students, so the Home-School Community Liaison Service has organised some helpful training to support parents of 6th Year students. It’s open to parents of students at Gaelcholáiste an Chláir and Ennis Community College.
Study Skills for Parents will be held in the held in the parents room on Wednesday the 10th Feb from 2pm-3pm. This is designed to complement the separate study workshops for students being held next week. The session is free and will led by the Home-School Liason Officer, Ms O’Brien. Transition Year Science Students at Gaelcholáiste an Chláir had a unique opportunity to use a spectrometer last week, to analyse the composition of a range of different materials. Young scientists Treasa Ní Chadhain and Grace Nic Mhathúna from Gaelcholaiste an Chláir entered the Young Scientist competition with a project titled ‘The effect that Facebook LIKES have on Teenagers’.
